Art Experiences"

Jaco Schilp is an immersive digital artist, curator, and light designer, known for creating physical-digital artworks through experiments that merge technology with the physical world. His work spans immersive environments, point cloud data processing, and the design of innovative nightclub spaces.
His work has been exhibited and presented at museums, galleries, and festivals, including the Van Gogh Museum, No Es Una Galleria, Boiler Room,
Le Guess Who?, and Dekmantel, among others.
An autodidact, Jaco’s fascination with light-based art began in his youth, influenced by his family of theater makers and performers. His artistic exploration deepened during his studies in cultural heritage, and his involvement in the underground rave scene and club culture of the Netherlands sparked his interest in creating immersive, video-projected environments.
Recently, he has started creating more autonomous artworks based on 3D scanned data sets, sculptural light works, real-time process artworks, and integrating sound with light, interactive sensors, and video.
